General information about your flight (GTC)
Conditions of carriage
The contract of carriage is based on the general conditions of carriage of Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei GmbH (DZR), which are available at www.zeppelinflug.de or which will be sent to you on request.
Carriage restrictions
Passengers with a weight over 140 kg may not be permitted to board the Zeppelin due to material load limitations. Please contact a representative of passenger service at the time of booking if your weight is over 120 kg. Children under the age of two and travellers in wheelchairs are not permitted on board the Zeppelin. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers must be able to walk a distance of approximately 150m over grass and are required to climb up and down 5 stairs without assistance. Walking aids cannot be brought on board. Zeppelin travellers with disabilities are asked to contact the passenger service before booking. The passenger remains responsible for advising us of any disability. We reserve the right that if a passenger does not meet the physical or weight regulations, we may refuse the passenger on board due to our safety regulations. In such circumstances a cancellation of the booking is no longer possible, the flight price cannot be reimbursed. Travelling companions booked on the same flight cannot cancel the flight free of charge.
Clothing
During the boarding or disembarking procedure it may happen that you have to walk on unpaved surfaces (grass fields, gravel). We therefore ask you to wear appropriate footwear.
Weather
Flying with the Zeppelin depends on the weather. In the case of a flight cancellation, the passengers will be informed by phone, as soon as possible. Please provide your mobile number so that we can reach you in time. However, it may also happen that a flight is cancelled on the very day of the flight. A change in flight route or flight time may also be undertaken without explicit approval from passengers due to the same reasons.
Tickets
On the day of the flight, you will receive your ticket after presenting your booking confirmation/invoice and an official identification document (ID card, passport, or driving license) at the check-in desk. Tickets will not be issued before full payment of the flight price.
Check-in
Due to legal requirements, the check-in deadline is 60minutes before the scheduled departure time for your flight. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not comply with the check-in deadline. The flight expires without substitution and without refund.
Electronic devices
Electronic devices that can send and receive signals may only be used after the permission of the cabin crew has been granted. Otherwise it is prohibited at all times when on board the Zeppelin. Please leave such devices switched off or put them into flight mode. The use of standard consumer cameras is allowed on board the Zeppelin. Please follow the instructions of the flight crew at all times.
Booking alterations and name change
A fee of 50,- EUR per person will be charged for each booking alteration or name change. Alterations may only be made up to 31 days before the scheduled flight date. Afterwards, alterations are no longer possible.
Cancellations
Passengers must cancel bookings in written form, stating their booking reference number. The following cancellation fees apply: 31 days or more before flight date: 50,00 EUR per person 30 – 10 days before flight date: 50 % of original price 09 – 0 days before flight date: 100 % of original price The date of cancellation is the date on which the written cancellation arrives at the DZR office.
Travel Insurance
To reduce your personal costs in case of an unexpected cancellation on your side you may contact your Insurance Broker to check for the possibility of existing travel insurance.
Vouchers
Vouchers or a fraction of any vouchers cannot be reimbursed. Our Vouchers are valid up and until 3 years after the date of purchase. The monetary value of a voucher might also be used for any other flight. A voucher is only valid, if fully paid.
Aborted flights:
If a flight is aborted, the actual flight time will be calculated with 11,- EUR per minute. Any difference can be used for a new booking or be reimbursed. Should a flight be aborted less than 15 minutes after boarding you will be offered a re-booking into an alternative flight for the full length of your original reservation.
Cancelled flights
If a flight is cancelled by DZR, we try to offer an alternative. DZR will not cover any travel, hotel or any other costs.
Validity of pricing:
Ticket prices maintain their validity up to 1 (one) year after the time of the originally planned flight date, if a flight was cancelled by DZR. Rebookings later than 1(one) year after the original flight date might incur in a surcharge equal to the price difference between the originally booked flight price and the price valid at the date of the new flight.
General:
These General Terms are valid in accordance with the official version published on our Internet-site. Possible future amendments of parts of these terms have no influence on the validity of the overall Gerneral Terms. These General Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the respective defendant.

By car: From Friedrichshafen, head towards “Messe”. Follow the signs for “Zeppelinflüge“ or “Zeppelinhalle“.
Navigation systems: If you are using a navigation device, we recommend that you enter “Messe” as a destination.
By bus: Line No. 5, bus station Zeppelin-Hangar. From there it is a 5-minute walk along Messestraße.
MUNICH-OBERSCHLEISSHEIM: Flugplatz Oberschleißheim Effnerstraße 18, 85764 Oberschleißheim. You will find the Check-in Desk inside the Museum
By car: To access the car park from the A99 motorway, take the Neuherberg exit, then continue along Jägerstraße.

S-Bahn: S1 direction Freising/airport to Oberschleißheim. From Oberschleißheim S-Bahn station, Flugwerft Schleißheim is a 15- minute walk along Mittenheimerstraße
